Delaware Military Heritage & Education Foundation and Delaware Military Museum

The Delaware Chapter of the MOWW is supporting the initiatives of The Delaware Military Heritage and Education Foundation. The purpose of the DMHEF parallels those of the MOWW as is reflected in our Preamble which can be seen at the Home screen. The current major initiative is the development of the Delaware Military Museum, located at First Regiment Road, Wilmington, Delaware 19808. The Museum displays artifacts and stories of the sacrifices of uniformed service members over the past 350 years. Admission is always free. The "Virtual Museum" is available on the Museum website for preview of artifacts and viewing of many stories of the Delaware military, and those who have supported the states and Countries defense and patriotic initiatives. 

The Museum is open every Wednesday from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. and on the second Saturday of every month from 12 to 3 P.M. At 1 P.M. a lecture will be presented on various topics but primarly military history and patriotism.
